Tenax International offers a wide range of 100% electric sweepers that can be configured with a modular range of batteries and chargers, providing the most (e)nergetic solution, suitable for the customer’s needs.
For this reason, Tenax International, in addition to being the first company in the world able to provide a range of 100% electric sweepers, is also the only one able to completely customize the energy supply of your Tenax road sweeper, adapting to the most different environmental factors that each of our customers has to face every day.
The Tenax 100% electric sweepers always allow the operator to complete a full work shift. Equipped with LiFeP04 Lithium Ion batteries or with IRONCLAD® lead acid batteries, they exceed 10 hours of autonomy *.
The Tenax 100% electric sweepers are equipped with batteries which have a life time estimated from 1560 cycles (at 60% DoD – Depth of Discharge) with AGM (TPPL, Thin Plate Pure Lead) NexSys® batteries up to 2000 life cycles with LiFeP04 Li-ion batteries; this duration is equivalent to 3 – 8 years of average life.
Time and place of recharge
The Tenax 100% electric sweepers are equipped with batteries that can be recharged indoor (LifeP04 – NexSys®) or that require ventilated areas (Waterless® – IRONCLAD®). They can also be recharged with 110 V-220 V single-phase or 220 V- 400 V three-phase, single or double chargers that allow times of charging which vary from 12 to 3 hours.
Budget and Amortisation
The Tenax 100% electric sweepers are equipped with batteries perfectly suited for the budget and for the depreciation period expected by our customers, allowing considerable savings, according to the required performances. Moreover, Tenax “plug & play” energy solutions offer the possibility to change the type of battery locally, during the useful lifetime of the sweeper.
The Tenax 100% electric sweepers are equipped with minimum-maintenance sealed batteries (LiFeP04 – NEXSYS®) or with maintenance frequencies ranging from 3 (IRONCLAD®) to 8 weeks (Waterless®). In addition, all Tenax 100% electric sweepers are equipped with charging systems of the centralized electrolyte and with intelligent battery chargers that constantly monitor and equalize the cells, thus guaranteeing the proper functioning of the batteries.
The Tenax 100% electric sweepers can be equipped with Acid-Lead type (E) and AGM (TPPL, Thin Plate Pure Lead), both for hire and for periods from 36 to 60 months; ask your nearest authorized Tenax dealer for a tailor-made solution.

It can be quickly and frequently recharged in any type of environment. 1560 cycles (at 60% DoD – Depth of Discharge) and 24 months warranty. Autonomy of 8 hours *. (Available for Electra 1.0, Electra 2.0 Neo and Hydro).
IRONCLAD® Solution designed by EnerSys®
IRONCLAD® Solution designed by EnerSys®–Lead Acid battery with high capacity positive square plate – Open vented battery, with every 3 weeks scheduled maintenance. It can be recharged in a standard mode and in a ventilated environment. 1800 minimum expected life cycles and 36-months warranty + 36 months pro rata (50% -32% – 16%). Autonomy of 10 hours *. (Available for Electra 1.0, Electra 2.0 Neo and Hydro).
Waterless® Solution designed by EnerSys®
Waterless® Solution designed by EnerSys®– Tubular positive plate Lead acid battery with reduced maintenance – Open vented battery, with every 8 weeks scheduled maintenance. It can be recharged in a standard mode and in a ventilated environment. 1500 expected life cycles and 24 months warranty. Autonomy of 9 hours *. (Available for Electra 1.0 and Electra 2.0 Neo).
*The autonomy of the sweeper is calculated on the standard sweeping shift, with a temperature of 25 ° C. The data may vary according to the slopes and to the working speed of the brushes and the suction turbine.
