Steering

Tenax SmartWind + is equipped with an innovative electric steering system controlled by an ergonomic electronic control mouse, which allows for precise steering in all situations. Operator safety is increased by the presence of sensors which automatically adjust the steering depending on the speed. At the same time, the damped rear wheels make the steering light and agile.
Batteries and runtime

SmartWind + can be equipped with different types of 24 Volt low voltage battery packs designed specifically for the device. The possibility to use different types of batteries (Litio LiFe P04, AGM) allows the machine to be adapted to the specific working requirements and budget of each customer. Depending on the battery type chosen, runtime ranges from eight to ten hours, and is therefore able to cover an entire work shift. The tried and tested technology used minimises the environmental footprint and offers high levels of recyclability, as well as high levels of safety thanks to the low voltage.
Charging and recovery

SmartWind + can be equipped with on-board or external single-phase battery chargers with different voltages, power ratings and charging times to fully meet customer requirements.
Sweeping

The SmartWind+ electric walk-behind sweeper is equipped with an advanced mechanical-suction collection system that ensures high and consistent performance on all types of urban surfaces. The counter-rotating front brushes, positioned at the front, direct debris towards a self-adjusting central cylindrical brush, which effectively transfers it to the suction system. An integrated conveyor belt further enhances the efficiency of the process, ensuring continuous and uniform transport of collected material to the waste container. This innovative mechanism enables homogeneous filling, optimizing the effective capacity of the container and reducing the need for frequent emptying. Air filtration is handled by a high-efficiency panel filter, available in multiple versions including Polyester and HEPA-certified, capable of capturing up to 99% of fine dust, including particles down to PM 2.5. SmartWind+ is also equipped with a 120 mm diameter and 3-meter-long suction hose, ideal for reaching the most difficult areas and collecting bulky material. Thanks to the self-levelling system on every active component, the machine perfectly adapts to any terrain irregularities, maintaining maximum operational performance at all times.
Waste Container

The rear watertight 55,4 GAL capacity waste container is made of Fe360 stainless steel. It may be used with or without standard single-use plastic bags. Rear high tipping at 59 INCH allows for quick and easy emptying, with no physical effort by the operator. The 13,2 GAL clean water tank guarantees the utmost work autonomy and the use of the dust control system.
Driving comfort and safety

SmartWind + features a central driving position which is adjustable and ergonomic for a unique driving experience. The protective roll-bars ensure complete safety while driving, while the ergonomic control mouse on the right-hand armrest provides increased driving comfort. The control LCD display is ergonomic and intuitive, featuring a user-friendly interface; it is installed in a central position and offers great ease of use which makes it possible to concentrate on the work to be performed without any distractions. A soundproofed cab with panoramic LAMINATED anti-glare windscreen can also be installed, with fully glazed doors to provide optimal visibility. It is also possible to obtain an even wider view of the surrounding area thanks to supplementary video cameras.
Connectivity

Fleet monitoring and digitalization can support the daily work of both owners and operators. Tenax offers targeted support and services, with constant monitoring intended to reduce downtime and operating costs to a minimum. The objective is to guarantee optimal sweeper use by eliminating all usage inefficiencies.

Polyester or HEPA certified filter

The filtration system, capable of ensuring 99% filtration efficiency and retaining dust particles up to PM 2.5 size, can be equipped with various optional filters, such as the polyester filter or the HEPA certified filter, depending on specific needs.
Weeding brush

SmartWind+ can be equipped with a weeding system featuring a steel brush, ideal for fast, simple and precise weeding operations.
Panoramic cab

SmartWind+ can be fitted with a panoramic cabin, available with or without glazing and doors according to requirements, offering greater operator comfort during working operations.
Side broom and grabber kit

For greater operator comfort, an ergonomic lateral broom and grabber, conveniently located on the side of the SmartWind, can be installed as required to pick up waste from the ground.
Access ramps

The use of SmartWind+ on pedestrian areas and sidewalks may require the installation of side access ramps, allowing the operator to easily overcome any differences in level.
